cleanwater1 | PolyBlend

  • Polymer Feed and Control - Since 1982 the PolyBlend® Series remains the leader in automated polymer blending feed systems. Our proprietary designs feature two-stage mechanical mixing with shear velocities designed for optimum initial wetting followed by dissolution to utilize the full polymer activation and reduce chemical cost.  PolyBlend® equipment can prepare polymer solutions with broad rangeability and programmability. Whether your selected polymer is dry (granular) or liquid (emulsion, dispersion, or mannich solution), we can select to fit your needs.  The range of installations is broad. Systems have been installed in virtually all water, wastewater and reuse applications for municipal and industrial users. Many non-water applications have also been designed and installed.  The PolyBlend®polymer mixing and feed systems offer precise control of dosing rate, dilution level, mixing time, and energy. Our design controls mixing and wetting energy intensity in two stages to optimize polymer performance and provides maximum economy and value in the use of polymers.

  • UGSI Chemical Feed is proud to offer the most comprehensive line of both hydraulic and mechanical polymer activation methods. Chemists will continue to refine existing polymers and develop new ones just as they have for more than 35 years. Operators should demand a polymer feeder that can keep up with breakthroughs in polymer technology for years to come.

UGSI Chemical Feed includes the Polyblend® mechanical polymer feeders with the Dynablend and Dynajet hydraulic polymer feeders. Both technologies have been used in the field for the past several decades. The Polyblend® technology was introduced in 1972 and the Dynablend and Dynajet technologies were introduced to the market in 1985. The combination means UGSI Chemical Feed now boasts over 10,000 installations and three decades of field experience.

Our systems are designed to optimize polymer performance because they follow the latest in polymer science. These fundamental aspects are manifested in features such as:

    Miniblend Hydroaction

    1. Two stage mixing with the highest energy applied first at the moment of initial wetting (MOIW) followed by a "quiescent" zone allowing for more gentle activation as polymer science dictates.
    2. Extended residence time in the "quiescent" zone to optimize the continued charge site exposure as the polymer is activated in an optimal manner.
    3. Options for pneumatic conveyance (dry polymer), economic mix tank design and secondary dilution to fit any site condition and application challenge.
    4. Control options to fit any site condition and application challenge.

I took a gamble on this sweater, amazon clothing seems to sometimes be way different quality than what’s pictured but I was very happy when I received this sweater! Sanjeev Garg | 27 Aug, 2021

his sweater is a bulky, fairly heavy winter sweater that will be awesome for the office or casual wear. The fabric is very silky soft. It’s nice and snuggly! I can’t wait for it to get cool enough to wear it! Sanjeev Garg | 27 Aug, 2021
