- Through this geometry, the circumferential seal is moved away from the seat and thus the strain on it is relieved when the valve opens. This minimises wear and ensures a long service life.

- Resilient seated in accordance with EN 593
- Face-to-face length acc. to EN 558-1, basic series 14 (DIN 3202, F4)
- With flange ends on both sides acc. to EN 1092-2
- Double-offset disk bearing mounted in maintenance-free bushing
- Medium free bearing (dry shaft) in body by means of double O-ring sealing and closed disk eyes
- Wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and undermining-resistant seat
- Possible to replace profile sealing ring without disassembling the disk
- Automatic sealing system with enclosed and pressure-supported profile sealing ring
- Vacuum tight up to 1 Torr
- Tight in both flow directions (see note for excepted sizes)
- Blow-out proof shaft and shaft sealing

| Series: | VAG EKN® Butterfly Valves are available in three series: H-Series, B-Series and M-Series B-Series for basic requirements As a robust and cost-efficient solution, the basic series can be used for standard shut-off tasks in water treatment and water distribution. M-Series for medium requirements Proven VAG quality with fully enclosed bearing for even more corrosion protection and a wear-resistant seat. An automatic sealing system which is independent of the flow and equipped with a special sealing profile resists even high gap velocities. H-Series for highest performance This series meets the most stringent requirements in water treatment, water distribution, in power plants and dams. Its innovative design with patented hydrodynamic disk, enlarged inner diameter and patented pressure-compensation channels saves energy. Thanks to their special construction, the butterfly valves of the H-Series minimise pressure loss and turbulence in the outlet area. Their maximum corrosion protection ensures an extremely long service life even in the harshest operating conditions. |
